Son of Hoefle – Another state of mind from within….

A few years ago a gentleman came into Curiosities with a stack of original drawings by the late Dallas artist Karl Hoefle.  Karl was the man responsible for the hyper detailed illustrations of the Dallas skyline that graced the covers of most Dallas phone books in the 1970s.  Several months after I purchased the drawings the same gentleman came in the shop with some rather interesting collage art of his own.  He happened to be Karl’s son and has been bringing in his wonderful art since, here is a recent sample available at Curiosities.  Side note – Many of his collage pieces graced the pages of the classic Book of Sub-genius – PRAISE BOB!!!!

Picked up three super cool original Psychedelic Illustrations yesterday!

These were done by a Illustrator for the Dallas Times Herald in the late 1960s.

Trip out brothers and Sisters!!!!
