Curious About Us

Jason Cohen and longtime antique dealer and mother Terry Cohen opened Curiosities in 2006. Terry and Jason have honed the skills of finding the weird and wonderful to a fine art. Six other dealers make up this emporium dedicated to treasures from the past.

Side show banners, medical devices, porcelain advertising signs, tramp art, vintage cowboy apparel – Curiosities, located in historic Lakewood, isn’t your typical antique store. Mother and son owners, Terry and Jason Cohen have honed the skills of finding the weird and wonderful to a fine art. Jam-packed with antiques and oddities, this is a great place to rediscover childhood memories or find that special piece for your space. A visit here is not one that you will soon forget.

“Love this place! You can literally get lost in time.” – Cari

“AMAZING! The collection and variety is excellent and there is so much to see inside the store. As a collector it is hard to find good stores that sells antique oddities and such in the area. Everyone is really well informed and helpful, definitely a store worth checking out.” – Maddie

“I pop in from time to time. The stock changes regularly so if you find something you like – pounce on it. They have all kinds of things so take your time and poke around. Prices are reasonable and people are friendly.” – Holley
